Cedar Ridge

The architecture of this home showcases black steel beams, walls of glass, and Hemlock ceilings that stretch toward the treetops. The vision was to meet that architectural confidence with softness, so the home feels as welcoming as it is striking.

Every decision was guided by balance. Rather than compete with the setting, the interiors take their cues from it. Pale white oak floors, tables, and cabinetry carry the warmth of the light wood overhead, while a plastered fireplace wall and slabs of veined marble provide calm, grounding surfaces. A fluted oak island and slatted oak walls add rhythm and depth, giving the clean lines of the architecture a handcrafted quality.

Texture does the rest of the work. Shearling, bouclé, and woven wool layer over cream upholstery, softening each room and inviting you to settle in. Terracotta vessels, weathered pottery, and sculptural stone pieces add age and character, so every space feels collected over time rather than designed all at once. The result is refined without ever feeling untouchable.

Together, these thoughtfully curated elements create a home that feels rooted among the pines and entirely at ease: modern in its foundation, warm in its details, and designed to be lived in and awe-worthy during crisp mountain mornings to alpine glowing evenings.
